It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts

Gino Torretta – Minnesota Vikings, 1993 Draft

Some players are drafted into pro football with so much hype but eventually fail to live up to it throughout their careers. Gino Torretta is one such ace player who was once part of two football teams that won the National Championships. During one of those appearances, he even set a record throwing an astonishing 485 yards.

Despite all his achievements at the University of Miami, Torretta wasn’t drafted until the seventh round when Minnesota Vikings picked him up. This somehow foreshadowed how his entire career would pan out, which was relatively unremarkable, playing only two games and throwing a mere sixteen passes in five years.
