It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts

Eric Crouch – St. Louis Rams, 2002 Draft

Eric Crouch ranks high in the list of Heisman recipients who flamed out early in their NFL careers. In 2002, he was drafted by St. Louis Rams during the third round to be their wide receiver, but his heart was set on playing as a quarterback. To the athlete’s disappointment, he wasn’t allowed because his height was considered short for that position.

Unfortunately, Crouch didn’t even begin to play due to an injury before being traded by St. Louis. He played in six different teams in a career spanning six years but got edged out of NFL, leaving behind only unrealized dreams and potential.
