It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts
Peter Warrick – Cincinnati Bengals, 2000 Draft
In 2000, the Cincinnati Bengals drafted Peter Warrick as the fourth overall pick, only to be disappointed with their choice. They had expected the continuance of his explosive offense as a dynamic receiver who had led his team at Florida State to victory at the Super Bowl, but, alas, that dream didn’t take off.
Warrick was under pressure to step up and deliver from day one of his recruitment but failed to meet the team’s expectations, even recording only one touchdown in the second year. His six-year career remained largely uninspiring since he was out of commission in 2004 with a severe knee injury.
