When Winter Strikes Hard
Nothing gets spared during the winter, not even trash cans. The one in our photo is completely frozen, and we can imagine that a frozen trash can won’t be useful for its intended purpose. The freezing temperatures would make it difficult to dispose of waste, and the rigid parts would make it difficult to close the lid properly.
But there are several ways to protect trash cans from freezing. The easiest way is to keep them indoors, but one can also insulate them with foam or blankets.
