The Golden Age of Wrestling, Meet the Most Influential Pro Wrestlers of All-time

Warrior (James Hellwig) – Active 1985 to 1998

Whether he was fighting as The Ultimate Warrior, the Dingo Warrior, or simply Warrior, James Hellwig was an extremely popular wrestler during the ’80s and ’90s, decades in which he performed for WWF and WCW. Known for his trademark blonde hair and impeccable physique, he abandoned the ring in 1998.

In his “second life,” James Hellwig decided to focus on a public speaking career. He eventually returned to wrestling for a sporadic 2008 appearance and for being inducted in WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2014. That same year, he passed away after suffering a heart attack.
